Scheer jointing and fine-cutting machines cut veneers, hard paper, foils, chipboard coated on both sides and a wide variety of panel-shaped materials with a square edge, without joints or splinters. Even thin non-ferrous metal sheets such as aluminum, brass and copper as well as plastics (acrylic glass, hard and soft PVC, foams, etc.) are cut amazingly cleanly.
The material to be cut is clamped by a pressure beam, which is tensioned by means of a handwheel and cable. The clamping pressure is evenly distributed over the entire clamping length. As a result, even wavy veneer packages are cut without joints. The manually guided saw carriage with flange-mounted three-phase motor runs on an extremely precisely machined guide track and is mounted on 5 ball bearings. The steel guideway is automatically kept clean by spring wipers. Excellent cutting results are achieved by a small, easily replaceable saw blade.
